(A) These regulations shall be enforced by the city through its enforcing officials. These enforcing officials shall have no authority for enforcement where these or similar regulations are enacted pursuant to § 153.12 of these regulations. Enforcement in such cases shall be by the adopting agency or its designated representative.
(B) The enforcing officials are charged with the administration of these regulations, as follows:
(1) Administration of plan examination, including the same, performed under contract by private geotechnical firms;
(2) Intake and processing of all permit applications, including plan examination and issuance of the proper permits located at the office of the city;
(3) Field inspection of the work under permit to ensure continual compliance with approved documents;
(4) All enforcement activities and procedures to ensure proper completion of the work as documented and approved.
