The Common Council, pursuant to I.C. 36-8-4-4, hereby establishes an annual clothing allowance for all members of the Police Department, other than dispatchers. The allowance for the year 2001 shall be $800 for all members of the Police Department ($400 to be paid to each full-time member in January and $400 to be paid in August), and $400 for police dispatchers ($200 to be paid to each full-time dispatcher in January and $200 to be paid in August). All members receiving said annual cash clothing allowance are hereby required to furnish and maintain all of his/her uniforms and clothing necessary for the performance of their duties as a member of the Police Department or as a dispatcher.
