(A) There is hereby established the position of Deputy Clerk-Treasurer who shall serve at the pleasure of the Clerk-Treasurer of the city and have such powers and duties as authorized and provided under the laws of the state of Indiana.
(B) There shall be one and only one Deputy of the Clerk-Treasurer who shall be entitled to be compensated for the duties he performs in an amount as is established by ordinance.
