§ 30.04 DESIGNATIONS OF ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS.
   All ordinances and resolutions shall be numbered in the following manner: The ordinances and resolutions shall receive a number beginning with either all four digits of the year in which they were passed or with the last two digits of the year in which they were passed, followed by a dash, and then the number of such ordinance or resolution in proper sequence as has been passed in that year; provided however, that in order to distinguish between a resolution and an ordinance, the number of a resolution shall have a capital letter "R" immediately following the last two digits of the year in which it was passed, and placed before the dash.
