§ 33.07  FIRES OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE LIMITS.
   The City Fire Department is hereby authorized to provide fire and emergency service outside of the corporate limits of the city. All members of the City Fire Department shall be considered and held as acting in the performance and within the scope of their regular line of duties in fighting fire or saving property or life outside of the corporate limits or the city, when directed to do so by the City Fire Chief or by some person authorized to act for the Chief. In the event that the City Fire Department does engage in providing fire and emergency service outside of the corporate limits or the city, the Department may take and employ the fire equipment of the city as may be designated by the City Council.
