§ 132.13  INJURING TREES.
   It shall be unlawful for any person, carelessly or purposely and without lawful authority, to box, bore, bark, girdle, saw, cut down, injure or destroy any living tree or trees standing or growing upon land owned or controlled by any other person or persons; provided, however, that, nothing herein shall be construed to prohibit any public service company, association or organization from trimming any tree or trees pursuant to a written authorization duly obtained from the City Council.
