§ 132.07  WEAPONS.
   (A)   Carrying concealed weapons. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to carry about or upon his, her or their person or at or in any place within their immediate control any concealed pistol, revolver, knife, billy club, slingshot, metal knuckles or other dangerous weapon of any kind; provided, however, that, nothing herein shall be construed to apply to members of any official police organization acting within the proper course of their official functions. Nothing herein shall be construed to apply to an individual who has a permit to carry a concealed handgun pursuant to the Concealed Handgun Permit Act. Any weapon carried in violation of this section is hereby declared to be contraband and, as such, shall be subject to confiscation and forfeiture.

   (B)   Carrying loaded firearms. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to carry, transport or possess any loaded firearm of any sort within the jurisdiction of the city; provided, however, that, it shall not be unlawful for any person or persons to carry, transport or possess any loaded firearm upon property owned or controlled by the person; and provided, further, that, nothing herein shall be construed to apply to members of any official police organization or to any military service personnel acting within the proper course of their official functions. Any weapon carried in violation of this section is hereby declared to be contraband and, as such, shall be subject to confiscation and forfeiture.

   (C)   Discharge of firearms. It shall be unlawful for any person to fire or discharge any firearm within the jurisdiction of the city; provided, however, that, nothing herein shall be construed to apply to officially sanctioned public celebrations wherein the persons discharging firearms have written permission to do so from the City Council; and provided, further, that, nothing herein shall be construed to apply to members of any official police organization or to any military service personnel acting within the proper course of their official functions.

   (D)   Discharge of slingshots, air guns, BB guns, bows and crossbows. It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge a slingshot, air gun, BB gun, bow or crossbow or any instrument which propels a projectile of any sort, across or into any public property or in the private property of another person without approval by property owner and/or resident.
