It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, keep up, continue, use, maintain or cause any nuisance, as herein provided, within the jurisdiction of the city. Whenever a nuisance, as herein provided, exists within the jurisdiction of the city, the city may proceed by a suit in equity to enjoin and abate the same, in the manner provided by law. The Mayor and the city Police Chief are directed to enforce the provisions of the city code against all nuisances.
