§ 99.35  DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   GARBAGE.
      (1)   Kitchen refuse, decayed waste, dead animals or anything that may decompose and become offensive to the public health.

      (2)   For purposes of §§ 99.37, 99.38 and 99.39, the term GARBAGE shall be defined as provided for in division (1) above.
   REFUSE. For purposes of §§ 99.37, 99.38 and 99.39, the term REFUSE shall be defined as worthless matter, discarded machinery, chips, pieces of wood, dead trees, dead branches, bottles, broken glass, crockery, tin cans, boxes, papers, rags or any other litter or debris.

   RUBBISH or TRASH. Discarded machinery, chips, pieces of wood, stocks, dead trees, branches, bottles, broken glass, crockery, tin cans, boxes, papers, rags or any other litter or debris that is not an immediate hazard to the health of the residents of the city.

   WASTE. Cinders, ashes, plaster, brick, stone, sawdust or sand.
