§ 99.20  REPORT.
   It shall be the duty of all attending physicians to report to the city police Chief, acting in his or her capacity as secretary and quarantine officer of the Board of Health, promptly, upon the discovery thereof, the existence of any contagious or infectious diseases. In the event that no physician is in attendance, it shall be the duty of the person in charge of the care of any person afflicted with any contagious or infectious disease, promptly, upon the discovery thereof, to make the report. All reports made pursuant to this subchapter shall be confidential, and any medical practitioner or other person making the reports shall be immune from suit for slander or liable or breach of privileged communication based on any statements contained in the report.
