§ 31.015  GENERALLY.
   (A)    All officers and employees of the city shall receive such compensation as the City Council shall fix by ordinance; provided that, the compensation of any elective official of the city shall not be increased or diminished during the term for which he or she shall have elected, except as provided by the laws of the state, including, but not limited to, Neb. RS 17-108.02 and 17-612, as amended or superseded. No person who shall have resigned or vacated any office shall be eligible to return to the same, during the time for which he or she was elected or appointed, if, during the same time, the compensation therefore was increased.
   (B)   All ordinances fixing the compensation of officers and employees of the city shall be available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk.
