§ 93.04 PERMIT FEES.
   Due to the need to closely inspect and monitor the sale of fireworks, the City of Auburn hereby imposes fees to cover the cost of the inspection of facilities and the sale of fireworks.
   (A)   The fee for the review, issuance and inspections for a seasonal fireworks retail permit shall be $150 annually. This fee shall be in addition to all other business or occupational license fees. Each permit shall be valid no sooner than June 10 and expire no later than July 7, or December 26 and January 4 of each year, or both. Any person or business planning to set up a tent for the sale of fireworks shall first register with and obtain any required permits from the State Fire Marshall.
   (B)   The fee for the review, issuance and inspections for an ancillary fireworks retail permit shall be $250 annually. The permit fee shall be in addition to all other business or occupational license fees.
   (C)   The fee for the review, issuance and inspections for a permanent fireworks retail permit shall be $500 annually. The permit fee shall be in addition to all other business or occupational license fees.
   (D)   All permits and applications required by this ordinance shall be issued by the Fire Chief, or his designee, and shall be in compliance with all state and local fire code regulations. Upon approval by the Fire Chief, or his designee, and prior to the issuance of any permit, the approved application and all required permit fees shall be tendered to the Auburn City Clerk's office.
