§ 36.03 PAYMENT PROCEDURE.
   (A)   All taxpayers who may owe taxes under this chapter, shall pay the same to the City Tax Collector on or before December 31 of each year. If paid on or before November 30, a 2% discount will be given to taxpayers. It is further provided that to the tax bills of all taxpayers who fail to pay same on or before December 31, a penalty equal to 10% of the total tax bill shall be added. Interest shall be charged at the rate of 1 % for each month or fraction of a month until paid to all taxes not paid on or before the following January 31. Such delinquent taxpayer shall also pay all costs and expenses incidental to any action taken by the city for the collection of such delinquent tax bill.
   (B)   Ad valorem tax billing cards will be mailed to all property owners via the United States Postal Service to the mailing address on file with the Logan County Property Valuation Assessor Office. Payment may be made at Auburn City Hall, 103 E. Main Street, Auburn, KY 42206, or by mail to PO Box 465, Auburn, KY 42206. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash, check, money order, or credit card. Payment by credit card over the phone may be made by calling (270) 542-4149 ext. 202.
