§ 35.31 FIRE CHIEF; RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   (A)   The position of Fire Chief is hereby established.
   (B)   The Fire Chief shall be appointed by the Mayor at will, and may be removed by the Mayor at will except as tenure and terms of employment are protected by statute, ordinance, or contract.
   (C)   The Volunteer Fire Department shall operate pursuant to rules and regulations promulgated by the Volunteer Fire Department and approved by the Mayor and City Council.
