A special use permit granted pursuant to the provisions of this subchapter shall be a personal privilege only granted to the person applying therefor. If the special use permitted is discontinued for a period of time in excess of one year, then the special use shall cease. In the event that property subject to a special use shall be voluntarily or involuntarily transferred by the applicant, then the special use shall be discontinued. No special use permit shall be subject to sale or transfer.
