No person shall stop, stand, or park a motor vehicle except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with law or the direction of a police officer or traffic-control device, in any of the following places:
(A) On a sidewalk or between sidewalk and curb;
(B) In front of a public or private driveway;
(C) Within an intersection;
(D) Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant;
(E) Within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection;
(F) On a crosswalk;
(G) Within 30 feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic-control signal located at the side of a roadway;
(H) Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing;
(I) Within 20 feet of a driveway entrance to any fire station, and on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any fire station within 75 feet of the entrance;
(J) Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping, standing, or parking would obstruct traffic;
(K) On the roadway side of any motor vehicle stopped, standing, or parked at the edge or curb of a street;
(L) At any place where official signs prohibit stopping, standing, or parking; or
(M) On the traveled portion of any roadway which does not have a curb or gutter, when stopping, standing, or parking would obstruct traffic.
