It shall be unlawful for any person to obstruct any street crossing by unnecessarily stopping thereon with any team, vehicle, automobile or animal or to fasten or leave any automobile or other vehicle or team or single animal so that either of them obstructs the sidewalk or renders passage there along unsafe, and to hinder persons desiring to use such crossing or sidewalk.
