5-1-1: DEPARTMENT ESTABLISHED:
The Atlanta volunteer fire department shall consist of the mayor, the aldermen, the chief of police, the street commissioner, the superintendent of water and all police officers of the city, and such other persons as may be members. (Ord. 6, 2-6-1917)
