3-2-9: HOURS OF SALE:
   (A)   The closing hours of all premises licensed in the City for the sale of alcoholic liquors shall be between the hours of twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight and six o'clock (6:00) A.M. the following morning, as determined by the official time then in force under the laws of the State, whether the same be daylight saving time or Central Standard Time, except that the closing hour on Fridays and Saturdays shall extend to the hour of one o'clock (1:00) A.M. of the following day.
   (B)   The foregoing notwithstanding, the hours all premises licensed in the City may sell alcoholic liquors on Sundays are from twelve o'clock (12:00) noon until ten o'clock (10:00) P.M.
   (C)   The foregoing notwithstanding, all such licensed premises shall be allowed to remain open and sell alcoholic liquors until one o'clock (1:00) A.M. on New Year's Day.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful for any holder of a license to permit or allow any person, other than the holder of such license and not to exceed two (2) employees, to be, or remain, in or upon the premises licensed under such license after the "closing hour" or "hours", as defined in this subsection, and the words "closing hour" shall be construed to mean that said place of business so licensed shall be closed to all patrons, and all patrons shall be out of said place of business by such "closing hour". Such holder of the license and not to exceed two (2) employees shall be permitted to be or remain in or upon said licensed premises after the closing hour or hours only for the purpose of cleaning or stocking said premises.
   (E)   The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages in those establishments holding a Class B, Class D, Class E or a Class F license shall be subject to the provisions of this section. However, the opening and closing hours of operation of such an establishment, exclusive of the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages, shall not be subject to this section.
