2-1-1: PURPOSE:
This chapter shall be liberally construed, to the end that the health, safety and welfare of the people of the city shall be protected and temperance in the consumption of alcoholic liquors shall be fostered and promoted by sound and careful control and regulation of the sale and distribution of alcoholic liquor. (Ord. 06-87, 11-2-1987)
