Whenever there are moneys in the City Treasury which shall not be required to be used by the City for a period of six months or more, the Treasury Investment Board may invest the moneys, in lieu of their deposit in a bank or banks, in the bonds or obligations now or hereafter specified in Ohio R.C.731.56. The Board shall exercise further powers and perform duties as are now authorized and prescribed by Ohio R.C.731.56 through 731.59, or which may hereafter be provided by law, and the Board shall be subject to all limitations and restrictions contained in those statutes.
