511.04 EMERGENCY ORDERS.
   After proclamation of a public danger or emergency, the Mayor may also, in the interest of public safety and welfare, make any or all of the following orders:
   (a)   Prohibit or limit the number of persons who may gather or congregate upon the public highways or public sidewalks or any outdoor place, or in any theater, restaurant, place of public assembly or commercial establishment to which the public has access;
   (b)   Delineate the boundaries of any area threatened by a public danger or emergency, and restrict or prohibit the movement of persons into, from or within such area;
   (c)   Prohibit or restrict the retail sale, distribution or giving away of gasoline or other liquid, flammable or combustible products;
   (d)   Order the closing of gasoline stations and other establishments, the chief activity of which is the retail sale, distribution, dispensing or giving away of liquid, flammable or combustible products;
   (e)   Order the discontinuance of selling, distributing, dispensing or giving way of any firearms or ammunition of any character whatsoever;
   (f)   Order the closing of any or all establishments or portions thereof, the chief activity of which is the sale, distribution or giving away of firearms or ammunition;
   (g)   Prohibit or restrict the carrying or possession on the public streets or public sidewalks, in any public park or square or any other public place, a weapon, or any object intended to be used as a weapon, including, but not limited to, firearms, bows and arrows, air rifles, sling shots, knives, razors, broken bottles, fire bombs, missiles of any kind, clubs, blackjacks, billies, chains or similar items;
   (h)   Prohibit or restrict the retail sale, distribution, dispensing or giving away of acids, caustics, or any other chemicals or other substances, capable of being used singly or in combination to cause injury or damage to persons or property;
   (i)   Order the closing of all taverns, and all private clubs or portions thereof wherein the consumption of intoxicating liquor or beer is permitted;
   (j)   Order the discontinuance of the sale of liquor, beer or other alcoholic beverages;
   (k)   Issue such other orders as are imminently necessary for the protection of life and property; and
   (l)   The Mayor shall issue a proclamation of such orders to the public through the news media and such other means of dissemination as he deems advisable. Such proclamation shall also be delivered to the Chief of Police who shall inform the businesses affected by such proclamation.
