The Director of Public Safety is hereby authorized to make provisions for parking lot permits for city employees as he may deem necessary and appropriate. Parking lot permits, issued in accordance with this section shall be displayed in the lower left hand corner of the windshield (driver’s side) of the motor vehicle(s) for which such permit is issued.
