The Mayor is authorized and directed to purchase a faithful performance blanket honesty or position bond covering all elected and appointed City officials and employees, except the Judge of the Ashland Municipal Court and the Director of Finance and Public Record, each City official and City employee to be bonded in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000).
