155.01 ELECTED OFFICIALS; SALARIES; BONDS, ETC.

   (a)   Effective January 1, 2022, the Mayor of the City of Ashland, Ohio, shall receive the salary of $98,500, bi-weekly, and shall be bonded in the sum of $50,000.00.

   Thereafter, the Mayor shall receive compensation as follows:
      2023 - $99,485 (1% increase over previous year)
      2024 - $100,479.85 (1% increase over previous year)
      2025 - $101,484.65 (1% increase over previous year)

   (b)   Effective January 1, 2024, the Director of Finance and Public Record for the City of Ashland, Ohio, shall be paid the following payable bi-weekly. Furthermore, the Director of Finance shall be bonded in the sum amount of $50,000.00. The annual salary for the Director of Finance and Public Record shall be as follows:

      2024 - $85,000.00

      2025 - $86,700.00

      2026 - $88,434.00

      2027 - $90,202.00

   (c)   Effective January 1, 2024, the Director of Law for the City of Ashland, Ohio, shall be paid the following payable bi-weekly. Furthermore, the Director of Law shall be bonded in the sum amount of $50,000.00. The annual salary for the Director of Law shall be as follows:

      2024 - $90,000.00

      2025 - $91,800.00

      2026 - $93,636.00

      2027 - $95,509.00

   (d)   Effective January 1, 2024, the Members of the Council elected from Ward One and At-Large for the City of Ashland, Ohio, shall be paid the following payable bi-weekly. Furthermore, each said Members of Council shall be bonded in the sum of $50,000.00. The annual salary for these Members of the Council shall be as follows:

      2024 - $9,000.00

      2025 - $9,180.00

      2026 - $9,364.00

      2027 - $9,551.00

   All increases shall be applied as of January 1 of each respective year.

   (e)    Effective January 1, 2022, the members of the City Council elected from Wards Two, Three and Four of the City of Ashland, Ohio, shall receive the salary provided for the year 2021, increased by 1% payable bi-weekly ($8,665.69) and shall be bonded in the sum of $50,000.00.
   Thereafter, said Council Members shall receive compensation as follows:
      2023 - $8,752.35 (1% increase over previous year)
      2024 - $8,839.87 (1% increase over previous year)
      2025 - $8,928.27 (1% increase over previous year).

   (f)   Effective January 1, 1999, the President of Council shall receive a salary of one thousand two hundred dollars ($1,200) per year, payable monthly. Such salary shall be in addition to his regular salary received as a Councilman.
