1501.10 REPORTING OF FIRES AND SPREADING ALARM.
   (a)    It shall be the duty of a manager, owner or lessee, an employee or agent of any manager, owner or lessee, and of an occupant or any person in direct control of rooming houses, tenement houses, apartment houses, hotels, motels, rest homes, convalescent homes, department stores, theaters, hospitals, auditoriums, schools or other educational facilities, child care facilities, churches, and other similar places of assemblage or abode, upon discovery of any unfriendly fire on the premises or upon the discovery of any unfriendly fire which has been extinguished, but which has not been previously reported, to immediately and with all reasonable dispatch and diligence, call and notify the Fire Division concerning the fire, and to spread the alarm immediately to all occupants of the building.
   (b)    It shall be the duty of the manager, owner or lessee of any hotel or motel to post the provisions of subsection (a) hereof in a conspicuous place in each room for occupancy by guests in such hotel or motel, and it shall be the duty of the manager, owner or lessee of any rooming house, tenement house, apartment house, rest home, convalescent home, department store, theater, hospital, auditorium, school or other educational facility, child care facility, church or similar place of assemblage or abode, to post the provisions of subsection (a) hereof in a conspicuous place upon such premises.
