A permit must first be obtained from the Plumbing and Sewer Inspector or his authorized agent before any plumbing, waste piping and venting, water heating equipment, building drain or fixture is installed, performed, replaced or relocated. In case of an emergency, twenty-four hours, not counting Saturday, Sunday or holidays, will be allowed for the obtaining of a permit. The Plumbing and Sewer Inspector shall have the sole authority to determine whether or not an emergency actually exists. A drawing may be required prior to the issuance of a permit.
All permits shall expire six months from date of issuance.
