921.74 CHARGES ASSOCIATED WITH SEWER CONSTRUCTION.
   (a)    Sewer Installer License. All connections to a public sanitary sewer shall be made by a licensed sewer installer. Upon successful completion of the sewer installer's test and upon receipt of the fifteen dollar ($15.00) fee, a license shall be issued. The sewer installer's license shall be renewed yearly upon receipt of the seven dollar and fifty cent ($7.50) fee. Failure to renew the sewer installer's license within a calendar year may be cause for retesting. The sewer installer's license may be revoked for failure to comply with this chapter and/or City specifications.
   (b)    Inspection Fee. There shall be an inspection fee in the amount of twenty-five ($25.00) for the services rendered by the Inspector in inspecting the installation of any sewer, drain or lateral or the connection thereto. If the installation of the connection does not conform to the application filed and the ordinances of the City, there shall be an additional fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each trip the Inspector has to make before approval is granted.
   (c)    Sanitary Sewer Tap Fee. Any person tapping into a sanitary sewer line shall pay a tap fee. For the purpose of this section, a "sanitary sewer line" shall mean a line that has been constructed by the City and for which no assessments have been levied against the property in question.
      Tap fee shall be as follows:
 
4 (10 cm) inch diameter tap -

6 (15 cm) inch diameter tap -

8 (20 cm) inch diameter tap -

10 (25 cm) inch diameter tap -
$4,300.00
12 (30 cm) inch diameter tap -
$7,000.00
 
   The tap fee shall be waived for premises previously participating in the cost of the construction of that sewer.
