907.01 NUMBERING OF HOUSES AND BUILDINGS.
   All houses and buildings on any streets or frontings on any public grounds of the City shall be numbered according to the street numbering plats made for the City by the City Engineer and now on file in his office, and as may be hereafter made and prepared. The numbers shall be assigned thereto by the City Engineer upon a certificate issued upon request of any owner, agent, lessee and occupant of the premises, and the numbering so used shall be of aluminum, zinc, brass or enamelware not less than two by three inches in size, or enamel plates not less than three by six inches in size, provided that any person shall have the right to number his own house or building with such materials in any ornamental manner.
