701.01 LICENSE REQUIRED; FEE.
   No person shall conduct any form of amusement at any permanent or temporary place of amusement or any itinerant form of amusement within the City without a license therefor as hereinafter provided.
   Every person desiring to continue to conduct or hereafter to begin to conduct any form of amusement at any permanent or temporary place of amusement or any itinerant form of amusement within the City shall file an application for a permanent, temporary or itinerant form of amusement license or licenses, as the case may be, with the Mayor. Upon approval of the application, the Mayor shall forthwith issue such license upon the payment by the applicant of the sum of one dollar ($1.00) for each license.
   An amusement license shall be valid only for the person in whose name it is issued and for the conduct of amusements at the place designated therein; it shall not be assignable; it shall be conspicuously displayed at the place or places for which issued during the period of ticket sale and conduct of amusement. All licenses for permanent places of amusement shall expire on December 31, next following the date upon which they are issued unless sooner surrendered by the licensee. Licenses for temporary places of amusement or for forms of itinerant amusement shall expire at the time specified therein. Licenses for permanent places of amusement as provided for herein may be renewed each year before January 1 upon application and payment of a renewal fee of one dollar ($1.00) for each license so renewed.
   The licenses herein required shall be in addition to any and all other licenses required by law. (Ord. 35-67. Passed 7-18-67. )
