§ 90.38 FAILURE TO SURRENDER ANIMAL FOR CONFINEMENT OR DESTRUCTION.

It shall be unlawful for any person to fail or refuse to surrender any animal for confinement or destruction as required in this chapter when demand is made therefor by the Department of Animal Control. The District Health Director or the Department of Animal Control may authorize any suspected rabid animal to be destroyed for rabies diagnosis, at the discretion of the Health Director or his or her designee.
