(A) Location of a racetrack for a motorsport event shall be more than 1,000 feet from a residential dwelling unit or commercial building, unless permission of the owner or lawful occupant is granted in a notarized document and specifies the applicable time period. Location of a racetrack shall be more than 2,640) feet from a school, a daycare facility, a nursing home facility, a hospital, a state, federal, or local public park, and the right-of-way of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
(B)
Hours of operation shall be limited to 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (Midnight) on Friday and Saturday. Operation of a motorsport event shall be subject to the Ashe County Noise Ordinance (Chapter 97).
