§ 32.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BIDIS. Small, thin hand-rolled cigarettes, often flavored, imported to the United States, having very high concentrations of nicotine, tar and carbon monoxide.
   COUNTY FACILITY. Any facility occupied by County Government.
   E-CIGARETTE. Any electronic oral device, such as one composed of heating element, battery, and/or electronic circuit, which produces a vapor or nicotine or any other substances, and the use of inhalation of which simulates smoking. The term shall include any such device, whether manufactured, distributed, marketed, or sold as an e-cigarette, e-cigar, e-pipe, or any other product name or descriptor.
   LOCAL VEHICLE. A passenger-carrying vehicle owned, leased, or otherwise controlled by local government and assigned permanently or
temporarily by local government to local government employees, agencies, institutions, or facilities for official local government business. Tobacco use in vehicles is prohibited in the Vehicle Use Policy section of the Ashe County Personnel Policy.
   SMOKING. The use or possession of a lighted cigarette, lighted cigar or any other lighted tobacco product.
   TOBACCO. Cigarettes, cigars, bidis, pipes, chewing tobacco, snuff and other items containing tobacco or tobacco products.
   TOBACCO PRODUCT. Cigarettes, cigars, blunts, bidis, pipes, chewing tobacco, smokeless tobacco, snuff or any other items containing tobacco.
   TOBACCO USE. Smoking, chewing, dipping or any other use of tobacco products.
