The county shall, on a quarterly basis, distribute one-third of the net proceeds of the tax levied under this chapter to the Ashe County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce may use funds distributed to it under this chapter only to promote travel and tourism in Ashe County, and for no other purpose. The county may use the remaining two-thirds of the revenue received under this chapter for any public purpose.
