§ 156.01 TITLE.

   This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the Ashe County Residential Subdivision Chapter.

§ 156.02 AUTHORITY.

   Pursuant to the authority granted by G.S. §160D-801, the County Commissioners of Ashe County do hereby ordain and enact into law the provisions of this chapter.

§ 156.03 JURISDICTION.

   On and after the date of adoption, this chapter shall govern each and every residential subdivision of land for the purposes of the development of residential subdivisions within Ashe County (referred to hereafter as the “county”) and outside the jurisdiction of any incorporated municipality.

§ 156.04 PURPOSE.

   The purpose of this chapter is to guide the development of residential subdivisions within the county by facilitating an orderly system for their design, layout, and development.
