(A) The zoning ordinance as adopted January 6, 1966 readopted February 10, 1977, and revised, effective July 1, 2021, to comply with Chapter 160D of the General Statutes of North Carolina, and as the ordinance may be subsequently amended, is adopted and incorporated as part of this code of ordinances as fully as if set out at length herein.
(B) Copies of the City of Asheboro Zoning Ordinance are on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
(C) Notwithstanding any provision found within the above-referenced zoning ordinance, the City of Asheboro Zoning Ordinance shall not impose any criminal penalties on the basis of the violation of an ordinance provision adopted under Chapter 160D of the General Statutes of North Carolina, except for those ordinance provisions related to unsafe buildings.
