Electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and other systems and installations, appliances and equipment intended for use in buildings and other structures and which are not provided for in the North Carolina State Building Code or in this Code or other ordinance shall be installed, maintained and used in conformity with nationally accepted standards; and the following shall be considered as a partial list of publications which set out nationally accepted standards within the meaning of this section:
(A) National Electrical Code, current edition, published by the National Fire Prevention Association.
(B) North Carolina State Building Code, Volume II, Plumbing.
(C) Current editions of publications referred to with approval in the North Carolina State Building Code.
