§ 114.58 EXCESSIVE CHARGES PROHIBITED; DRIVERS TO TAKE SHORTEST ROUTES.
   No person owning, driving or controlling a taxicab shall charge or attempt to charge any passenger a greater rate of fare than that to which he is entitled under the provisions of this chapter. All taxicab drivers shall travel the nearest and most direct route to the point of destination unless directed to do otherwise by the passenger.
