§ 99.29 PLANKS AND ROPES AT EXCAVATION SITES.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person making any excavation for any purpose whatsoever in a street or sidewalk of the city to fail to cover such excavation securely with plank or to place ropes around the excavation three feet from the ground.
   (B)   A violation of this section is punishable as a misdemeanor.
