(A) If a situation arises where there is an excessive amount of soil, mud or debris from a construction site accumulating on a street within the city limits, and/or the situation becomes hazardous or potentially hazardous to public safety and cannot be corrected by routine street flushing, the responsible builder or contractor will be notified and given a reasonable amount of time within 24 hours to clean the street.
(B) If the problem has not been corrected to the satisfaction of the city after the allotted amount of time has passed, or if requested by the responsible party, the city will clean the street and invoice the responsible party for the work required. The fee charged by the city to clean the street will be $250 minimum for the first hour and $100 for each hour thereafter.
