There shall be a Supervisor of Cemeteries, to be appointed by the City Manager, to whom shall be instructed the supervision of all cemeteries in, or the property of, the city. The Supervisor of Cemeteries shall supervise, look after and care for all cemeteries in or belonging to the city, in accordance with the laws of the state, this Code and other ordinances and resolutions of the City Council. He shall be at all times subject to dismissal by the City Manager in like manner and to the same extent as any other municipal employee.
