(A) It shall be unlawful and a violation of this subchapter for any person to park a motor vehicle in any space within a city parking lot other than in those spaces designated as parking spaces, or to park for a longer period of time within such designated spaces than indicated by any authorized sign placed, erected or installed; and any person violating any of the terms of this subchapter shall be guilty of an offense against this subchapter.
(B) A violation of this section is punishable as an infraction.
