§ 34.53 ORGANIZATION AND MEETINGS.
   Each year, within 30 days after the annual appointment of new members, the Planning Board shall meet and elect a chairman and create and fill such offices as it may determine. The term of the chairman and other officers shall be one year, with eligibility for reelection. The Planning Board shall adopt rules for transaction of its business and governing its resolutions, discussions, findings and recommendations, and such rules shall be a public record. The Board shall hold at least one meeting monthly, and all of is meetings shall be open to the public. A majority of the Planning Board’s membership shall constitute a quorum. When determining whether or not a quorum is present, vacant positions on the Board and Planning Board members who are disqualified from voting because of a statutorily recognized conflict of interest shall not be considered members of the Board for the limited purpose of calculating how may Board members are needed for the requisite majority.
