§ 32.01 MAYOR; DUTIES GENERALLY.
   The Mayor shall be the official head of the city government and shall preside at all meetings of the City Council. The Mayor shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as are or may be conferred upon him by the General Statutes of North Carolina, the City Charter, this Code and other ordinances and resolutions of the City Council.
