§ 33.41 POLICE FUND.
   (A)   Establishment. There shall be created a Police Fund for the town, to provide for the purchase of miscellaneous law enforcement supplies and equipment.

   (B)   Revenues to Fund. The following sources of revenue and/or income shall be deposited into the Police Fund:
      (1)   Fees for copies of any and all incident and other reports, other than accident reports;
      (2)   Fees from pictures or copies of pictures;
      (3)   Any and all money realized from civil forfeiture actions;
      (4)   Fifty percent of all proceeds generated by violation of town ordinances and as collected by the Ordinance Violations Bureau;
      (5)   Any and all city and town court fees; and
      (6)   Any and all other miscellaneous sources of revenue, income, and fees generated by or in regards to the operation and services provided by the Police Department, and which are not mandated to be deposited into the Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund.

   (C)   Expenditures from Fund. Expenditures from the Police Fund shall be used for the purchase of materials, supplies, and equipment, or general operation of the Police Department, all at the discretion of the Chief of Police. However, any expenditure greater than $2,500 must be approved by the Town Council.
