§ 32.019 POWERS AND DUTIES.
   The Economic Development Commission shall have the general power to perform all acts necessary to establish and implement an economic development program in and for the town, including the following:
   (A)   Establishing and meeting industrial and commercial prospects;
   (B)   Providing background material and information to prospects as may be requested or required by such prospects concerning all aspects of town life;
   (C)   Coordinating any efforts with prospects amongst the various other town agencies or groups most especially the Town Council and its Utility Departments;
   (D)   Coordinating with the Town Council any required utility services, tax abatement applications. and other needs of prospects;
   (E)   Establishing and surveying potential industrial and commercial locations, including surveying the availability of such sites, the prices for which the same can be obtained and the terms and conditions of any such sales;
   (F)   Supervising the town’s presentations at State Department of Commerce programs, including Hoosier Hospitality Days; and
   (G)   Performing such other duties and responsibilities as the Town Council may, from time to time, delegate to said Commission.
