§ 31.04 POLICE CHIEF.
   (A)   The Police Chief is appointed by the Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners, subject to the qualifications for employment determined by the Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners and as approved by the Town Council.
   (B)   The Police Chief is subject to dismissal by the Council.
   (C)   Duties of the Police Chief include:
      (1)   Enforcement of all laws and ordinances;
      (2)   Directing and taking charge of the town’s Police Department; and
      (3)   All other duties necessary to promote safety and security within the town.
