§ 53.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who violates any provision of this chapter, for which no specific penalty is otherwise provided, shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   Any person who makes any false statement, representation, or certification in any application, record, report, plan, or other document filed or required to be maintained pursuant to §§ 53.030 through 53.041, or who falsifies, tampers with, or renders inaccurate any monitoring device or method required under §§ 53.030 through 53.041, shall may be assessed a civil penalty of not more $2,500.

   (C)   Any person who shall continue any violation beyond the time limit provided for in § 53.092 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount not less than $20 and not more than $200, plus the cost of prosecution for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
