(A) In addition to the sewage rates and charges based upon the quantity of water used on or in the property or premises subject to said rates and charges as set forth above, there shall be charged to each owner of each and every lot and parcel of real estate that is be connected with the town’s sanitary sewer system, the connection fee or charge as follows:
(1) For a single or double-family residence, the connection fee shall be in the sum of $500.
(2) For a commercial or industrial building or facility, the fee to be charged shall be the greater of $500 or a fee determined using the following formula:

(3) Estimated GPD means the estimated gallons flowage of water per day to the facility or building concerned.
(B) Said connection fee or charge shall be paid at the time of making application for a sewer permit.
