(A) The Police Department or any other person so designated by the Mayor may issue a written notice for removal of weeds or grass.
(B) The weeds or grass shall be cut by the owner or occupant within five days after the notice has been duly served.
(C) Only one written notice shall be issued. Subsequent offenses that occur during the same year shall be abated by the village at the owner’s expense and/or a citation may be issued.
